Olivier Leflaive Abbaye de Morgeot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 2020AC 0036785 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $495.00 TASTING NOTE : Crushed hazelnuts, salted butter, baked apples, pie crust and dried jasmine flowers here. Lovely complexity and generosity, with full-bodied layers of ripe stone fruit married to a pastry-like creaminess. Long, too. Drink or hold [until 2035]. Score - 94. (jamessuckling.com, Aug. 8, 2023)

Olivier Leflaive Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2019
Olivier Leflaive Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2019AC 0036781 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $1,395.00 TASTING NOTE : Pale lemon yellow, with a lightly honeyed aspect to the nose, but appealing fruit beneath. A scintillating burst of fruit on the palate, notable for the intensity of the pure lemon fresh fruit, quite high octane for sure, but with the fruit in the ascendancy. Exceptionally long finish. Overall the tension is enough to match the weight of the wine. Drink from: 2020-2045. Score - 96. (Jasper Morris, MW, insideburgundy.com, May 2023)

Olivier Leflaive Blanchots Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 2020
Olivier Leflaive Blanchots Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 2020AC 0036779 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $305.00 TASTING NOTE : The tiny yet highly revered Blanchots Premier Cru plantings were once part of the Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru until its premier cru classification in 1930. A wine of exceptional quality, this is subtle on the nose, with an elegant bouquet of yellow pear, white flowers, acacia, verbena and marzipan. It will age and mature well into the early-to-mid-2030s, where it will develop an oily, nutty texture.

Olivier Leflaive Champ Canet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru 2020
Olivier Leflaive Champ Canet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru 2020AC 0036777 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $285.00 TASTING NOTE : Made from younger vines in the Garenne side of the vineyard. Lemon and lime, much more tension here, significant intensity at the back of the palate, a touch more weight than Champgains, though apparently no more alcohol, with very good precision behind. Score - 92-94. (Jasper Morris, MW, insideburgundy.com, Dec. 2021)

Olivier Leflaive Charmes Meursault 1er Cru 2020AC 0036778 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $295.00 TASTING NOTE : From the top and middle of the vineyard. Medium yellow here, some good weight of fruit throughout, very Charmes in style, with a crystalline touch to refresh the finish. Excellent energy behind, with a long, strong thread of predominantly white fruit. Score - 92-95. (Jasper Morris, MW, insideburgundy.com, Dec. 2021)

Olivier Leflaive Clos de la Velle Meursault 2020AC 0036774 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $189.00 TASTING NOTE : Located opposite a gorgeous 13th-century château, the Clos de la Velle Vineyard has well-draining calcareous soils. This dense, flavourful wine is aged in 20% new oak barrels and shows flavours of quince and pineapple mingling with aromas of hawthorn, honeysuckle, toasted hazelnut, and buttery oak.

Olivier Leflaive Folatieres Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru 2019
Olivier Leflaive Folatieres Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru 2019AC 0036786 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $445.00 TASTING NOTE : The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Folatières 1er Cru has a lighter and more airy bouquet: dew-speckled green apples, gunflint and light spicy aromas come together to create a complex and involving set of aromatics. The oak is nicely integrated here. The palate is well-balanced with a harmonious texture, perfectly-pitched acidity, taut and linear with a nuanced, apricot and quincetinged finish that glides across the senses. Lovely. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. Drinking window: 2025-2045. Score - 93. (Neal Martin, vinous.com, Dec. 12, 2023)

Olivier Leflaive Levrons Puligny-Montrachet 2020
Olivier Leflaive Levrons Puligny-Montrachet 2020AC 0036776 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $219.00 TASTING NOTE : One of the most recognizable names in Puligny-Montrachet, Leflaive has become iconic for its well-crafted whites that pair well with traditional Burgundian fare. This one is herbaceous and mineral-stricken, with notes of green apple, marzipan and hazelnut alongside a flinty minerality. It will age well into the early 2030s. Serve alongside seared duck breast with a side of sweet potatoes and asparagus.

Olivier Leflaive Meix Chavaux Meursault 2020
Olivier Leflaive Meix Chavaux Meursault 2020AC 0036783 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $245.00 TASTING NOTE : Pale lemon. The bouquet is completely different, much more muscular, even a bit of bacon fat. Then freshens up in the glass. This is very powerful stuff, 13.5%, but it is completely consistent all the way through. Needs more elevage. Is going to be really impressive for village Meursault. Score - 91-93. (Jasper Morris, MW, insideburgundy.com, Dec. 2021)

Olivier Leflaive Pierres Chassagne-Montrachet 2020
Olivier Leflaive Pierres Chassagne-Montrachet 2020AC 0036775 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $199.00 TASTING NOTE : 'Pierres' is in reference to the practice of covering vine roots in stones to retain heat when temperatures drop, which is a page taken out of the Côtes du Rhône playbook. Considering that this wine was aged in oak barrels for two full years, one might assume the rich, unctuous character would mute the bright flavours, but the crisp lemon and quince notes are well-integrated, blending perfectly with hints of acacia, white flowers, and a sharp-edged minerality.

Olivier Leflaive Pommard 2018
Olivier Leflaive Pommard 2018AC 0036782 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $135.00 TASTING NOTE : This is graceful and racy, its black cherry and blackberry fruit driven by bracing acidity. Dusty, mouthcoating tannins are present too, however this red has the requisite fruit to develop over the next decade or two. Crisp finish. Best from 2024 through 2036. Score - 92. Olivier Leflaive Sous le Dos d'Ane Meursault 1er Cru 2018
Olivier Leflaive Sous le Dos d'Ane Meursault 1er Cru 2018AC 0036784 (XD) 14% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $370.00 TASTING NOTE : A Meursault that's almost a Puligny, both in terms of geography and style, this is a wine that benefited from its altitude in 2018. Formerly a red vineyard until it was replanted in 1983, this is subtle, leesy and engagingly refreshing for the vintage, with well-handled 20% new wood, crunchy acidity and a taut, stony, lees-influenced finish. Drinking window: 2022-2030. Score - 94. (Tim Atkin, MW, decanter.com, Oct. 17, 2019)
