Château Cos Labory 2021
Château Cos Labory 2021AC Saint-Estèphe, Grand Cru Classé en 1855 0037346 (XD) 13% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $65.00 TASTING NOTE : The 2021 Cos Labory is a wild, eccentric wine. Dark red/purplish fruit, spice, leather, tobacco, and incense lend quite a bit of nuance. There's good depth and plenty of character, but also, some slightly rough contours that could use a bit of polishing up. The aromatics in particular, feel a bit disassociated. Drinking window: 2031-2046. Score - 91-93. (Antonio Galloni, vinous.com, May 2022)

Château Dauzac 2021
Château Dauzac 2021AC Margaux, Grand Cru Classé en 1855 0037347 (XD) 13% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $95.00 TASTING NOTE : Fragranced and nuanced on the nose with savoury touches, a lovely combination of ripe red and black fruits - cherries and bramble fruits with dark chocolate, liquorice and graphite touches. It's ample and generous and there is some glamour, but doesn't quite have the weight for the follow through at the moment. Lightly framed, good succulence, tension and precision but lacking a little depth. Definitely more linear and straight right now. Clear tobacco and coffee touches with mint too on the finish too. Feels sculpted with nice elements but will be good to age and round out. Drinking window: 2025-2035. Score - 91. (Georgina Hindle, decanter.com, March 31, 2022)

Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2021
Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2021AC Pessac-Léognan, Cru Classé de Graves 0037326 (XD) 13% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $115.00 TASTING NOTE : The 2021 de Fieuzal Blanc shows considerable potential, unwinding in the glass with aromas of crisp nectarine, mint, pasty cream, citrus oil and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and tensile, with tangy acids, chalky dry extract and a long, saline finish, it will be bottled under Diam 30. This Sauvignon Blanc-Sémillon blend is rapidly establishing itself as one of Bordeaux's most interesting dry white wines. Tasted three times. Score - 92-94. Château de France 2021
Château de France 2021AC Pessac-Léognan 0037327 (XD) 13% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $45.00 TASTING NOTE : Fully aromatic on the nose, perfume and ripe fruits, so appealing, really jumping out of the glass. Succulent with clarity and precision - the fruit and overall texture feels clean and tongue-scraping, with the stone and graphite elements coming through and lifting the palate away from the fruit flavours. This has real tension and focus as well as weight on the mid-palate from the plush fruit, but it's the cooling, terroir elements to the fore right now with integrated tannins and barely-there spicing. Lovely structure and persistence. Delicious. Michel Rolland consultancy. Drinking window: 2025-2034. Score - 92. (Georgina Hindle, decanter.com, March 31, 2022)

Château Doisy-Védrines 2018
Château Doisy-Védrines 2018AC Barsac 0037393 (S) 13% Alc./Vol. 375 mL $35.00 TASTING NOTE : The balance is extremely good, between richly textured stone fruits and plenty of grip, with poise and lift. The limestone and red clay soils of Barsac have really helped here, where the grapes were able to keep their freshness even while the botrytis took its time to install. 37% new oak was used. A yield of 10.5hl/ha. Drinking window: 2022-2040. Part of Top Sauternes & Barsac 2018 wines: Re-tasted in the bottle. Score - 95. (Jane Anson, decanter.com, Jan. 15, 2021)

Château Fourcas Dupré 2021
Château Fourcas Dupré 2021AC Listrac-Médoc 0037331 (XD) 13% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $33.00 TASTING NOTE : Punchy and confident on the palate, this shines brightly with generous strawberries and red cherries edged by raspberry leaf and touches of black chocolate and graphite. Tannins are fine and give gently gripping support to the overall texture as well as bringing an extra layer of pencil lead, salinity and bitterness to the fruit. An upfront and charming wine that is well presented with excellent clarity. Drinking window: 2024-2035. Score - 90. (Georgina Hindle, decanter.com, March 31, 2022)

Château Guiraud 2016
Château Guiraud 2016AC Sauternes, Grand Cru Classé en 1855 0037391 (S) 13% Alc./Vol. 375 mL $49.00 TASTING NOTE : One of the top Sauternes in this report is the 2016 Château Guiraud, a brilliant wine from a more challenging vintage for the Sauternes region. Beautiful, powerful notes of sugared peach, blood orange, caramelized pineapple, and honey all give way to a full-bodied Sauternes that has loads of sweetness and richness, yet good acidity as well. It does everything right and will offer up incredible pleasure over the coming 25-30 years. Maturity: 2021-2051. Score - 96. (jebdunnuck.com, Feb. 28, 2019)

Château La Tour Carnet 2021
Château La Tour Carnet 2021AC Haut-Médoc, Grand Cru Classé en 1855 0037337 (XD) 13% Alc./Vol. 750 mL $65.00 TASTING NOTE : The 2021 La Tour Carnet is another gorgeous wine in this range from Bernard Magrez. Deeply pitched spice notes meld into a core of red plum/cherry fruit, followed by brighter, high-toned floral accents that add lift. La Tour Carnet has a track record of aging quite well. I suspect that will be the case here as well. La Tour Carnet remains one of the most under the radar wines in all of Bordeaux. Tasted four times. Drinking window: 2025-2046. Score - 91-93. It's medium-bodied with lovely length and depth. A focused and thought-provoking wine for the vintage. [Drink: 2027-2042] Score - 94-95. (jamessuckling.com, June 8, 2022)
