Silvio Denz's 2017 Lafaurie-Peyraguey is rich, tropical and unctuous, and yet also manages to retain a terrific amount of freshness. White and yellow flowers, passion fruit, mango and orchard fruit are some of the many nuances that develop in the glass, but it is the wine's total sense of balance that makes the deepest impression.
