The 2017 Puy-Blanquet is quite dark and potent in this vintage, with plenty of dark cherry, plum, leather and spice character pushed into the foreground. Open-knit and seductive, the 2017 will drink well upon release. This is especially supple and voluptuous. Silky tannins and plush fruit add to the wine's racy personality. Score - 88-90.
