Les Murgers des Dents de Chien is a rather provocatively named premier cru site. The name means 'walls of dog's teeth' and references the many uneven walls that serve as everything from vineyard boundaries to retaining walls. The soils are well-drained and shallow with plentiful broken limestone and produce sophisticated Chardonnays with generous white floral, citrus and mineral tones. This is a wine that will cellar for decades.
