Remarkably, this is still quite deeply colored, which is unusual for the typical '69 today. The mostly sous-bois and spice inflected nose reflects soft volatile acidity nuances that introduce nicely delineated middle weight flavors that possess a subtle minerality if not much depth on the acceptably persistent finish. In sum, this is without flaws but without much complexity either. Tasted twice in the last two years with consistent results. Drink up. Drink: Now. Score - 88.
